The Process

so, How does this work?
This is my freelance side job. the complete process can take anywhere from 4-12 weeks (yep, it can take some time). The timeline also depends on you! How fast or slow you are to respond, make your payments, revisions, and approvals!

Reach out to me and we will decide which packages are best for you and what you are wanting to achieve. ”
“Discovery Conversation
A discovery phone call/Zoom/In-person (your preference) will be set up for us to chat about your company and brand. I will send a worksheet for you to fill out prior to this meeting that will help me learn more about your brand to be able to design an ideal set of visual symbols.”
“Project Deposit
After the discovery meeting, I will send an invoice for 50% non-refundable deposit. My work on your project does not begin until I receive the deposit payment.

“Provide me with all Information & PHotography
If you are working with me on a website: in addition to the deposit, I need all of the information that needs to be included on your website – most of this will come from a worksheet I will send you – but it needs to be filled out! You will also provide me with any photography, files and logos you want included on your website. ”
“Initial Review
in 4-6 weeks I will email you the initial concepts to review for branding, or show you your developed website. ”
“Revisions
You will then either email me or call me with any revisions to any/all concepts that you would like to see revisions to.”
“Updated Edits
Edits will be made to concepts you like (1-2 weeks). Up to 2 edits.
For websites, edits will be made in 1-2 weeks.”
“Final Approval
You will then decide which concept you like (and if any final edits need to be made). If there are any edits, those will be made in 1 week or less.
For websites – any last edits with your final approval will be made in ~1 week depending on the edit. ”
“Color Palette
If you purchased a package that includes a color palette – we will move into color palette options after the final concept is approved. (1 week).”
“Final Invoice
Once everything is approved, your final invoice for the remaining 50% is sent.”
“Files Sent/site goes live
I will send you a final design package with all of the elements in the package you purchased after the final payment is received.
For websites – Once your site goes live on the web OR you are complete with your design. ”
Please note
since this is my freelance, side-job, I do take a bit longer to design and respond as I work 8-4 Monday – Friday. If you need something ASAP, please let me know and I will see if I can make it work! If I can’t, I’d love to give you recommendations on who I think can.
